Get your hands dirty on the One Day Taster class! During this half day workshop, you will learn both the fundamentals of handbuilding pottery and how to make pottery on the wheel. Half of the time will be spent learning how to throw on the potters wheel. You will learn how to centre and pull up your first shapes. This wheel throwing session is just for fun. Nothing made during the wheel session will be kept, but you will have a great taste for a future course. The other half will be spent handbuilding a piece (bowl, mug, candle holder etc) you will have time to make and decorate one piece. Your piece once dried out will be fired and glazed by us in our special oven (kiln) and will be ready to collect in 3 - 4 weeks. The course will be taught in English. Light refeshments will be provided. The price includes all materials and firing costs.

Cancellation Policy
Unfortunately these one-off classes are only refundable up to 7 days before the date of the workshop. After this point the workshop cannot be refunded, but it can be transferred to a friend as long as notice is given before the class commences. An administration fee of €10 will be deducted from any amounts refunded.
