During this 2.5 hr workshop, you will make your own ceramics using handbuilding techniques. (Not the wheel) The workshop outline - after a brief introduction and demonstration of the various handbuilding techniques you can use, you will be let loose with the clay to make something of your own choosing. You will have time to make one or two pieces for example and mug, bowl or plate with guidance where required. You can decorate your ceramics with colourful underglazes if you wish . Your finished piece(s) will remain in the studio to be glazed and fired in our special ceramic oven. Normally pieces will be ready to collect 3 - 4 weeks after the workshop. The course will be taught in English. The workshop time includes cleaning up. The price includes all materials and firing costs. This is a relaxing pottery experience and you will enjoy the process of creating something with your hands. This activity can be enjoyed alone or with friends and loved ones. Children over 10 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy
Unfortunately these one-off classes are only refundable up to 10 days before the date of the workshop. After this point the workshop cannot be refunded, but it can be transferred to a friend as long as notice is given before the class commences. An administration fee of €10 will be deducted from any amounts refunded.
