Do you want to learn how to make ceramics on the potters wheel?  Then book one of our courses where you can learn to do just that.

We offer 6 week or 8 week courses as an introduction to the wheel where you will learn how to make simple forms, trim them for a professional finish and glaze them to make then food safe.

The course outline is a follows:

Week 1 - Making cylinders 
Week 2 - Bowls
Week 3 - Trimming pieces from week 1&2
Week 4 - More throwing and altering forms
Week 5 - Trimming
Week 6 - Glazing (this is usually 2 weeks after week 5 to ensure all your pieces have been bisque fired)

(For 8 week courses there is more throwing and trimming sessions)

If you have already followed a beginners course, but wish to continue learning and practicing, then these courses will also allow you the freedom to do that.  The instructor will be on hand to advise and guide you, allowing you to perfect your throwing skills.
